Can you also photograph the event?
At this time, no. Because I’m a one-person operation and use high-end professional gear, I stay fully present in the Lounge to give your guests a seamless, polished experience.

How many guests can be photographed during the Lounge? It really depends on the size of your event and how much time is booked. I can help you determine the right amount of Lounge time based on your guest list and the flow of your event, so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the experience if they’d like to without feeling rushed.

What kind of backdrop is included?
A clean, neutral backdrop is provided (think soft white, beige, or light gray). You’re also welcome to provide your own custom or themed backdrop if you have a specific vision.

Do guests get their photos right away?
Yes! Each portrait is instantly available in an online gallery where guests can view, download, and share. On-site printing is available as an optional add-on.

Is this like a photo booth?
Not exactly. The Portraits Lounge is more like a mini photo studio — with flattering lighting, professional direction, and no props. It's ideal for elegant, editorial-style portraits that feel more timeless than trendy.

How far in advance should I book the Lounge?
I recommend booking 4–6 weeks before your event for the best availability, but no less than 2 weeks prior. If you’re an event planner looking to secure the Lounge early, I’m happy to lock in dates up to 6 months in advance.

Will the portraits be edited?
Since photos are delivered and printed on the spot, all images receive professional color correction for accurate and polished colors, but no retouching is done. This ensures guests get natural, authentic portraits instantly.

Do you travel outside NYC?
Yes, however travel fees will apply based on the event location and timing.

What happens if there’s bad weather?
The Lounge setup is portable but designed for indoor or covered areas. For outdoor events, a backup indoor space is required in case of rain or extreme weather.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due on the day of event.
